Behind The Console

Austin Wydrzynski is an audio engineer, sound designer, and founder of Resonant Frequencies, a production studio providing professional recording, sound design, and audio consulting for live performance and education. His interest in sound began as a student musician playing brass in his school band, where he developed an early appreciation for collaboration and the role sound plays in shaping both performance and audience experience.

Working in audio and AV since 2007, Austin’s career spans community and professional theatre, themed entertainment, and large-scale AV integration. He has served as an A1, A2, engineer, sound designer, and project manager, contributing to live productions while designing and implementing AV systems for schools, houses of worship, government facilities, and performance venues, including AVoIP-based environments.

Through Resonant Frequencies, Austin focuses on helping artists, educators, and organizations achieve clear, reliable sound while confidently capturing live performances and building practical understanding of audio systems. He believes good sound should support storytelling seamlessly, allowing performers and audiences to focus on the experience itself.
